Water for Life

To create awareness among rural communities regarding water conservation and water efficient technologies, NABARD launched a major education and communication campaign called Jal Jivan Hai or Water for Life, in partnership with Centre for Environment Education, on the occasion of World Water Day 2017. The campaign designed and developed educational material to promote public awareness of the need for water conservation. The campaign adopted a cascading approach to enable the flow of knowledge to the grassroots. Ranthambhour Seva Sansthan has run this campaign in the Rajsamand and Sawai Madhopur district with the grant assistant of NABARD.

NABARD has sanctioned a tribal develpment integrated programme in Chauth ka Barwada, Sawai Madhopur for more than 1000 tribal families. In this project Ranthambhour Seva Sansthan has benefited 900 tribal families by establishing Water Tank (Cement Concrete) or distributing HDPE Sprinkler Pipe for the purpose of irrigation. 

Ranthambhour Seva Sansthan has executed TDF – Wadi Project in Lakheri cluster of Bundi district with the financial grant of NABARD and ACC CSR. In the addition of this, a lift irrigation system was established from Mez River through the convergence of ACC to facilitated drinking water and irrigation to Kankra-Dungar Village. In this project RSS has benefited 450 families by establishing Water Tank (Cement Concrete) or distributing HDPE Sprinkler Pipe for the purpose of irrigation.
