BACKGROUND OF THE ORGANISATION
Ranthambhour Seva Sansthan (RSS), Nathdwara is a social service organization, registered under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958 in the year 2005-06 by enthusiastic youths and progressive social activists of Rajasthan. The NGO has thought to influence positive social change and development with justice for all. The strategic steps of RSS are aiming to bridge the distance between people by providing opportunities for integrated development through an exchange of ideas, knowledge, skills and learning by facilitating volunteering in social development sector.
Since its inception the organization is continuously extending support to the needy and vulnerable people in its project area. It has state level presence with quality implementation strategy backed by a motivated team of social workers. The working area of the organization is all over India. The Key thematic area of work includes livelihood generation, skill upgradation, Entrepreneurship training, Water Resources Development, Watershed development, rural development, organic farming, agriculture development environment women and child development. At RSS, we also provide vocational and technical trainings to youths to facilitate them towards self-reliance and socio- economic development. The organization work area is all over India.
We are the pioneers of a sustainable skill delivery system that supports the inclusive economic growth agenda of the nation and leverages the advantage of India’s demographic dividend. Our skill delivery process begins with the training of candidates, identification of jobs and ends with the placement of trained youth in various manufacturing and service sector industries. We have already established strategic partnerships with various organisations across multiple sectors to absorb the skilled people produced through our programmes.
Since the journey, RSS is facing new challenges every time & confronted with new socio-economic and development issues. In the project area the organization was able to identify some major issues and also started addressing some in the purview of organizational strength and resources.
